Miguel Rivera Espinosa, born on February 10, 1973, passed away on April 17, 2026. Throughout his life, Miguel was known as a dedicated and hardworking mechanic, a craft he pursued with unwavering commitment for many years. His tireless work ethic and determination were hallmarks of his character, earning him respect among colleagues and friends alike.

Outside of his profession, Miguel enjoyed simple pleasures that brought him joy and relaxation. Among these was the occasional enjoyment of a cold Busch beer, a small comfort that reflected his down-to-earth nature and zest for life.

Miguel’s journey was marked by resilience and determination. Despite receiving difficult news in 2024 about his health, he bravely fought on, guided by his faith and the strength that came from those who loved him. His children recalled that, with God's grace at his side, he was able to cherish two additional years of life, making memories and continuing to embrace each day to the fullest.

Miguel is deeply missed by his loving family, who remember him not only for his strength and diligence but also for the warmth he shared with those close to him. He is survived by his beloved children, Marivel Rivera, Maricela Rivera, and Miguel Rivera Jr.; wife, Maria Vera Rivera; and his cherished grandchildren, Leon Miguel Rivera and Kiana Marie Denise Rivera. He was also a devoted son to his mother, Maria Esperanza Espinosa de Rivera, and leaves behind extended family who carry forward his legacy of perseverance and love.

The family mourns the passing of Miguel deeply, noting that he was preceded in death by his father, Marcos Rivera Gonzalez. His memory will remain an enduring presence in the hearts of all who knew him—a testament to a life well-lived through hard work, devotion to family, and simple joys.

Miguel’s family will receive condolences on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port Ave, with the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening.
