Brethren, we gather here today not in sorrow, but in celebration of the life of Mindy Ann Garcia, a radiant soul called to Heaven's choir on the first of March, 2025. Born unto this world on the eighth day of August, 1985, in the warm embrace of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mindy's journey began and, by God's grace, ended in the same loving community, surrounded by the family she cherished so dearly. Mindy was a beacon of love and joy, a loving daughter to her mother, Rosie Garcia, and her father Manuel Hernandez, Jr., and a guiding star to her precious daughters, Katy Rose Flores and Danielle Rose Garcia. She was a sister full of life and laughter to Manuel and Daniel Garcia, and a treasured member of a family rich with aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Her love for music, dancing, and singing was a testament to the joy she found in every melody and rhythm. Mindy's passion for drawing was a reflection of the beauty she saw in the world and in the faces of those she loved. As a loving daughter and mother, Mindy's embrace was a sanctuary of warmth and kindness. Mindy Ann Garcia lived her life as a testament to love, kindness, and generosity. She was the kind of person who would give anyone the shirt off her back, expecting nothing in return but the joy of helping another soul. Her spirit was full of life, her heart brimming with love, and her actions a reflection of the grace bestowed upon her by the Almighty. Today, we honor a life well-lived, a woman who walked in faith and love. Let us hold fast to the memories of Mindy, the laughter shared, the tears wiped away, and the love that she spread so freely. She has left an indelible mark on our hearts, and though she has joined the heavenly host, her legacy of love will continue to inspire us all. Go in peace, Mindy Ann Garcia, and may the Lord hold you in His eternal embrace. Amen.

A Memorial Service honoring Mindy’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave., from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A Prayer Service will begin at 3:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening.
