Narciso Mar Garcia

Narciso Mar Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 73.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Olga Garcia; parents, Justo Garcia Jr and Isabel Mar Garcia; sons, David Narciso and Daniel Garcia; and siblings, Guadalupe Alvarez, Roberto Garcia, Baldemar Garcia, Faustino Garcia, and Ramiro Garcia.

Narciso proudly served in the United States Army and received two Purple Hearts. He was a true hero who loved his family and country.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his son, Hector (Lorena) Garcia; siblings, Mario (Irene) Garcia, Luis (Debra) Garcia, Jesus (Dalia) Garcia, Mike (Bobbie) Garcia, Julia (Alvie) Campbell, and Esmeralda (Oziel) Rubio; grandchildren, Alexandra Garcia, Abril Garcia, Angelica Garcia, Zaevion Garcia, Alexander Valencia, and Jovanni Valencia; great-grandson, Manuel Leonides Garcia (Rodriguez); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 12:00 PM followed by Liturgy of the Word. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:30 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
