Natalie H. Cortez

Natalie H. Cortez, 76, went home to be with the Lord October 25, 2016. Natalie was a fun, loving person that enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be dearly missed by so many who loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan H. Cortez, Jr. and her son, Eddie Garcia, Sr.

She leaves behind to honor and cherish so many wonderful memories her sisters, Mary (Paul) Sanchez from California and Ida Hernandez from San Antonio, Texas; her children, Norma (Javier) Benavides, Irene Cuellar, Raymond Garcia, Richard Garcia, Elizabeth Garcia, Elisa (Daniel) Gomez, Linda (Cris) Cortez and Johnny (Krystal) Cortez; 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

The celebration of Natalie’s life will begin on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 12 noon at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Fidencio A. Garcia, John Anthony Rodriguez, Ramsey Luna, Cristovel Aguilar, Daniel Gomez and Richard Cuellar.
