Nathan Charles Herrera born on February 23, 2004, left this world too soon on February 25, 2026. A recent graduate, Nathan proudly earned his diploma from Carrol High School in 2022 and subsequently achieved an associate degree in diesel mechanics from UTI Houston. He dedicated his short life to his passion for mechanics, establishing himself as a talented diesel mechanic.

Nathan's hobbies reflected his vibrant spirit, encompassing a deep love for coin collecting, fishing, working on cars, and gun collecting. Each of these interests highlighted his hands-on approach to life and his curiosity about the world around him.

He is survived by a loving family who will cherish his memory always. Nathan’s father, Moses Soto, and his mother, Jazmyne Sanchez, held him dear, as did his brothers, Norman Sanchez and Jaysyn Soto.  He is also survived by his grandfather, Hector Del Alto. The bonds of family extended through his aunt, Kassandra Mondragon, and cousin, Sandra Mondragon. Nathan is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and an extended family who will miss his infectious enthusiasm for life.

Nathan is predeceased by his great-grandfather, Felipe Ybanez, and his grandmother, Sandra Mondragon. Their memories will forever remain a cherished part of Nathan’s family legacy.

Nathan’s family will receive condolences on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port Ave, with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening.

Though Nathan’s time with us was brief, the impact he made will resonate in the hearts of those who loved him. His spirit will forever shine brightly in their memories.
