Nelda Torres Navarro

Nelda Torres Navarro passed away on October 23, 2016 at the age of 66. She was born in Robstown, Texas on June 1, 1950 to Luis and Frances Torres. Nelda was a teacher and taught special education in the school district. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Luis M. Torres and step-father, Elias L. Adame. Nelda is survived by her former husband, Raul A. Navarro; daughter, Kristina N. Lumetta; step-daughter, Natasha Navarro; sons, Mark A. (Julie), Michael (Isabel), and Matthew Navarro; mother, Frances Adame; sister, Elsa Cantu; brothers, Luis (Sylvia), Hector, and Raul (Gina) Torres; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara @ Port from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
