Nellie A. Medina

Nellie A. Medina, age 80, passed away on November 7, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruperto Blanco and Mamie R. Suarez; son, Tony Medina; and brother, Ruperto Blanco Suarez. Nellie leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Antonio G. Medina; daughter, Ida (Silver) Garcia; grandchildren, Michael Medina, Mark (Sonya) Garcia, Toni Jacqueline (Vince) Vychron, Mark Anthony (Kaitlin) Ramirez; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Salvador Suarez; sister, Mary Lou Murphy; cousin, Gloria (Alfredo) Benavides; and numerous other cousins, nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home 120 E. Front Street on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 3 pm to 9 pm; with a Prayer Service to be held at 7 pm that same evening. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church 1920 Marion Street Houston, Texas on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 12 pm; burial will follow at Historic Hollywood Cemetery 3506 North Main Street Houston, TX.
