Nicolas F. Barrera

Nicolas F. Barrera was born on December 10, 1923 to Jose and Emilia Barrera in San Diego, TX. He passed away September 11, 2017 at the age of 93 surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Emilia Barrera.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his family: wife, Virginia G. Barrera; sons, Andres Garcia (Veronica), Ricardo Garcia (Michelle), Juan Sevilla; daughter, Edith Gomez (Christian); cousins, Michael Campbell (Stella), Hector Torres (Elva), Emma Barrera, Marisol Campbell; nephews and nieces, Carlos, Angel, Samantha, Rickey, Tres, Kristen and Fernando.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Andres Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, Juan Sevilla, Christian Gomez, Elder Nelson, Elder Barnett, Elder Christensen, and Elder Lopez.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., from 9 to 11 in the morning; where a Chapel service will be recited at 10:00 a.m.

Funeral cortege will depart from Trevino Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017, to Roberson Collins Cemetery where Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
