Nicolas Gonzales, Jr.

Nicolas Gonzales, Jr., passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016, at the age of 47. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. He is preceded in death by his father, Nicolas Gonzales; grandparents, Jesus and Maria Flores; uncle, Jesus Flores, Jr. Nicolas is survived by his wife, Yvonne M. Perry Gonzales; mother, Carmen Gonzales; step-dad, Isabel Herrera; sister, Mary Posato; niece, Johanna (Bryan) Collins; nephews, Ronald (Tami) Posato and Ryan (Catherine) Posato; aunts, Susie (Arnold) Acosta, Cele (Camilo) Garcia, Rosa Velafranco, Leonarda Cortez, Rosalinda Pena, Anna (Dennis) Guzman, Julia (Frank) Tijerina, Maria Flores, and Petra (Jesus) Luera; best friend, Steven Shedd; 2 great nieces and 6 great nephews; numerous cousins. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 11am – 1pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port; with a Holy Rosary recited at 1pm; Military Honors will conclude services.
