Beautiful Nita Irene Merimon 02/08/1953 – 10/01/2018
In loving memory of my mom, Nita Merimon who lived a hard life and did the best she could as a mother. Over the years Tina, her daughter, took care of her and was by her side as she passed into the Lord Jesus arms. Nita received salvation on 02/02/2017 and grew to know the Lord as her Savoir which made her being so sick in her last days more comfortable and peaceful. Her favorite colors were pink and purple. She loved call Tina “Baby Girl”. She loved to put on her makeup and always dress nice, she always looked so pretty. She took a lot of pride in her appearance, a beautiful angel. She was a model in her younger days. She loved playing Bingo with her daughter and she loved to sing “One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus” with Tina, her only daughter. She worked construction and bartending before her becoming disabled; a job back in the day that only men could do, she did it. She was a strong woman, very independent, and worked hard to care for her 3 children the best she could as a single mother. I love you mom and I’m so thankful now that I was the one to care for you and hold your hand and tell you I love you very much as you took your last breath with a smile on your face and your hand in mine. You will be forever in my heart and I love you and miss you deeply. Now you have all the answers with Jesus.
Nita is survived by her daughter, Tina Malone; sons, Jason Ray Malone and James William Malone; grandchildren, Phillip Allen Malone, Christina Irene Malone, Michaela Mayann Nita Casto, Mathew Chavis, Jackie Malone, James William Malone 3rd, Jammie Lynn Malone, Jessie Malone, Katie Malone, Jason Malone, Jr.; 13 great grandchildren and extended family members.
