Noam Caleb Ortiz passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the age of 19 in Mathis, Texas.
Noam, our dear beloved son, from the day you were born I knew you were a special boy and I immediately fell in love with you. You overcame a lot at just a few months when we almost lost you, but you had a strong will to live, so you did, the apple of my eye. You were the most beautiful little boy, you were sensitive and had an enormous heart, so caring; tears would flow like if you had a little switch because you cared so much for others and would put your needs aside to make everyone happy. You were such a selfless person, words cannot describe how much you meant to us and how proud we were to be your parents; you loved unconditionally, as sensible as you were, you were just as tough, you were disciplined, dedicated, and you proved yourself on and off the football field and you’ve passed that on to your brothers. Noam loved holidays, especially Christmas because that meant lots of gifts; but most importantly, the time he’d spend with his beloved family and cousins in Laredo. Just like anyone his age, he loved sports, video games, or more specific, Call of Duty. He loved hanging out with his friends, but most importantly, Noam had a deep love for his family and cherished the time spent together traveling, playing jokes on each other, and enjoying family cookouts together. A good humble, smart, respectful, all around son, brother, grandchild, nephew, cousin, and last but not least, friend. In your short 19 years that God lent you to us, you touched the hearts of us, your family, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing and spending time with you. My son “Noam Caleb Ortiz” you were as unique as your name, truly special, we will love you always and forever until we meet again, but for eternity.
