Ofalinda "Linda" Avalos

Orfalinda Avalos, age 59, passed away on May 5, 2016. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She loved music and crossword puzzles; however her passion was caring for others. Orfalinda will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luciano Sr. and Angela Avalos; sisters, Ava Rosa Avalos, Maria Luisa Garcia; and daughter, Maria Elena Avalos. Orfalinda leaves behind her loving children: Beatrice Martinez, Josephine Martinez, Olivia Avalos, Arturo Avalos, Regina Avalos; brothers: Ancension Avalos, Luciano Avalos, Jr., Israel Avalos, Daniel Avalos; sisters: Mary Irene Avalos, Olivia Avalos; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port, on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 5 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm.
