Ofelia R. Perez

Ofelia R. Perez, age 74, passed away August 19, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Amando G. Perez, Sr.; son, Amando Perez, Jr.; and parents, Felipe and Jesusa Robles. She is survived by her children: Andy (Estela) Rodela, Gina (Ramon) Guerra, Liza (Reynol) Ramos, and Valerie (Gilbert) Garces; sisters, Alicia (Adolfo) Rojas and Yolanda (Richard) Thompson; grandchildren: Andy (Vickie) Rodela, Melinda (Randy) Curiel, Domingo Guerra III, Amando Guerra, and Ruby Rae Ramos; and numerous great, grandchildren and a host of friends. Ofelia loved being a part of the Broadmoor and Zavala Senior Centers and she always donated to a variety of charities and churches. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, August 23, 2015, from 4 to 9 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 24, 2015, at 1 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
