Oliver George Allen

Oliver George Allen, age 65, passed away on December 26, 2014, with his family by his side. George was a loving, caring, and dedicated husband and family man. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, playing golf, and traveling on vacations with his wife and family. He will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto Sr. and Eloisa Saenz- Allen; sister, Odelia Allen-Guzman. He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Diana Lee Allen; sons, Patrick Lee Vela, George Lee Allen, Gregg (Jenna) Lee Allen; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Michelle Allen; brothers, Albert (Connie) Allen Jr.; Lee (Lilia) Allen; brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and numerous nephews and nieces. He was blessed with a huge family. The family would like to give a special thanks to The Cancer Center, and Angel Bright Hospice for their loving and tender care. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port, on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, from 3 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 9:30 am on Wednesday, December 31, 2014; burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
