Olivia M. Smith

Olivia Mendez Smith passed away on December 13, 2018 at the age of 63. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by those whom loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Smith; parents, Armando Mendez and Olivia Alaniz Mendez.

Olivia is survived by her daughter, Juliana (Ryan) Holland; son, Christopher Lucero; sisters, Mary (Eginio) Alvarez, and Rosalinda Tamez; brothers, Lance LaRue, Armando (Carol) Mendez, Miguel (Bonnie) Mendez, and Jaime “James” (Martha) Mendez.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
