Onecimo B. "Chito" Cruz

Onecimo B. “Chito” Cruz passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 68. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolina Bustinza, and son, Onecimo Julian Cruz.

Chito is survived by his wife, Romelia Cruz; father, Jose Guadalupe Cruz; children, Anita Cruz, Armando Cruz, and Conchita Perales; sisters, Martha Martinez and Alma Ruiz; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 26, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM that evening. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday, December 27, 2021, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services at this facility.
