Oscar Elizondo Jr.

Oscar Elizondo, Jr passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, at the age of 69. He was a loving companion, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Oscar will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Ann Elizondo; father, Oscar Elizondo, Sr.; mother, Josefina Lopez Reyna; and grandparents, Pedro and Margarita Elizondo. Among those left to cherish his memory are his life companion, Maria C. Torres; children, Ruby (Marco) Elizondo Martinez, Oscar (Maria) Elizondo, III., Andrew Joseph (Laura) Elizondo, and Maggie Lynn (Oscar) Elizondo Medina; siblings, Margie (Joe) Elizondo Reyna, Sylvia (Ruben) Elizondo Ibañez, Juan Elizondo, David (Yolanda) Reyna, Henry Reyna, Elida (Robert) Gonzalez, Danny Reyna, Richard (Margie) Reyna, Josefina (Benito) Garcia, and Rebecca Reyna; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 11:00 AM.  A funeral liturgy will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 11:30 AM at Treviño Funeral Home.  A Funeral cortege will depart the funeral chapel at 12:30 PM to Rosehill Memorial Park for Rite of Committal and Interment at 1:00 PM.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
