Paul Gonzalez

Paul Gonzalez, 62, went with the Lord November 24, 2024. Paul Gonzalez was known for his kind heart, unwavering love for his family, serious looks, and a witty sense of humor.

Paul worked for Caleb Brett Intertek for 17 years and made lots of friends along the way. He enjoyed his job and the people he worked with.

Our Heavenly Father gave him the greatest gift of salvation in 2014, which strengthened his marriage to the love of his life, his wife, Dalia H. Gonzalez.

Paul was becoming a member at Glad Tidings Assembly of God church in Corpus Christi, TX in January 2025, where he was known as “the brother with many questions” but the Lord declares in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you.”

He was very proud of the children the Lord gave them, Maritza & Elizardo “Eli” Alaniz, Paul Eliazar & Kamryn Gonzalez. His greatest treasure, his grandchildren, Bryanna Marie, Jordan Ray, and Khloe Alaniz brought immense happiness and laughter to his days. He was also survived by “Mama G” Beatrice Gonzalez; siblings, Diana Gonzalez, Molly & Matt Corrington, Frank Gonzalez, Domingo Gonzalez, Alex & Diane Rubio, Anthony & Monica Rubio; sisters-in-law, Gloria Edgar and Fairy Gonzalez; along with numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita R. Hernandez, and brothers, Angelo Gonzalez and Pete Gonzalez.

Throughout his life, Paul was known for his unwavering commitment to his family which was his greatest passion and priority. He was a man who led by example, demonstrating the values of integrity, hard work, and kindness. His life was one of purpose and impact, leaving an indelible mark on the heart of those who knew him. His generous spirit, and the love he had for his family will be remembered by all.

We celebrate Paul’s well-lived life, full of love, laughter, and cherished moments. His spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear, and his influence will be felt for years to come.

A Celebration of Life honoring Paul will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 5:30 PM at Glad Tidings Church Assembly of God, 5674 Hall Ave, Corpus Christi, TX 78408.
