Petra De La Garza

Petra De La Garza, age 91, passed away on October 3, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel "Wile" De La Garza; parents, Valentine and Maria Del Jesus Quinones; brothers, Silvestre, Julian, Vicente Quinones; sister, Dorotea Q. Aguilar and uncle Vicente Paderes. She leaves behind her loving sons, Jose Luis (Nora) Cruz; Hilario (Alma) De La Garza; sisters, Estela (Domingo Garcia, Lupe (Alberto) Valadez; brothers, Manuel Quinonez, Jesus "Chuy" Quinonez; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; special niece, Carmen (Manuel) Ramon; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends Friday, October 9, 2015, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., Alice, TX; with a Memorial Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that evening. Rites of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Treviño Funeral Home Alice on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 9:00 am with interment to follow at New Collins Cemetery. Services under the direction of Bobby Treviño.
