Porfirio Moreno

Porfirio Moreno passed away on March 18, 2021 at the age of 59.  He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimiro M. and Eliza B. Moreno; sister, Graciela M. Trevino; brother, Zacarias “Ricky” Moreno; and brothers-in-law, Jorge Barrera III and Jacinto De Los Santos.

Porfirio is survived by his children, Porfirio S. Moreno Jr and Elisa M. Anguiano; siblings, Rosie Violantzis, Ida (Tiofilo) Gonzales, Cynthia Barrera, Irma De Los Santos, Jose (Mary) Moreno, Sandra (David) Onder, and Viola Kumaritakis; brother-in-law, Candelario Trevino; sister-in-law, Yolanda Moreno; eight grandchildren; partner, Tina Rosales; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday March 24, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.  Services will conclude in the chapel that evening.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
