Ramiro Anaya

Ramiro Anaya passed away on December 14, 2018 at the age of 94. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by all whom loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Julia Anaya; brothers, Gilberto Anaya, Alejandro Anaya, and Manuel Anaya; and sister, Consuelo Anaya.

Ramiro is survived by his wife, Evangelina Anaya; daughter, Aurora Reyna (Daniel); son, Samuel Anaya (Teresa), Sr.; sister, Dora Anaya; brother, Severiano Villarreal; grandchildren, Joann Garcia (Danny), Samuel Anaya, Jr. (Stephanie), Oscar Ruiz, Jr. (Deyanira), Jessica Culbertson (Nicholas), Adam R. Ruiz (Angie), and Gabrielle Ruiz; 17 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St. in Alice, TX; where a Holy Rosary to be recited at 1:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:30 PM to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Alice Cemetery.
