Ramiro Lazo

Ramiro "Ram" Lazo, aged 59, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on December 4, 2023. Born on April 8, 1964, to Roberto and Amelia Lazo, Ram was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, where he cultivated a life rich in family, music, and sports. Ram grew up in a vibrant household with his siblings, Ester, Rudy, Gloria, and Robert III; where the values of love, loyalty, and laughter were deeply instilled. These values became the cornerstone of his own family as he raised his beloved daughters, Corina and Sydney Alexandria Lazo, who were the pride and joy of his life. A man of many passions, Ram's love for playing the guitar was only matched by his enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Steelers. His spirited cheers could be heard every game day, echoing the same vigor he brought to every aspect of his life. Ram's affinity for vintage cars was more than a hobby; it was a canvas for his creativity and a testament to his appreciation for the craftsmanship of bygone eras. In addition to his musical and automotive pursuits, Ram was a gifted boxer. His dedication to the sport was evident in his disciplined training and the respect he held for his fellow boxers. The same strength and grace that Ram exhibited in the ring were evident in the way he carried himself through life's challenges. Ram's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Andrew Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Benjamin Sanchez, Isaac Murillo, Carlos Murillo, and Aaron Murillo, who will remember their grandfather as a man of warmth, wisdom, and an unyielding spirit. Ramiro Lazo's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of devotion, passion, and resilience. He will be deeply missed by his parents, siblings, daughters, grandchildren, and extended family, who take comfort in knowing that his melody will resonate in their hearts forever. As we bid farewell to Ram, we celebrate a life well-lived and the countless memories that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. His was a life that exemplified the beauty of embracing one's passions and the importance of family, leaving a lasting imprint on the world that will not soon be forgotten.
