Ramon Godines, Jr.

Ramon Godines, Jr., born March 10, 1960 to Ramon and Elodia Godines, Sr. in Alice, TX, passed away January 17, 2018 at the age of 57 in his home surrounded by his family. He is remembered as a huge Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans fan. Ramon loved long rides on his motorcycle, playing golf with his brothers, and BBQ’n with his family. His biggest joy in life was spending time with his loving wife, daughters, and grandsons. Ramon was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Noemi Godines; daughters, Selina Godines and Amanda Godines; grandsons, Tyler Lamon and Jaxson Gonzalez; parents, Ramon And Elodia Godines, Sr.; sisters, Rosie Villarreal (Jesse), Molly Cordova (Eli), and Letty Villarreal (Andy); brothers, Jose Martin Godines (Maria) and David Godines (Marie); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., from 9 AM to 11:30 AM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 11 AM. A Funeral Cortége will depart the funeral home at 12 PM to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church where a Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 PM. Cremation will follow.
