Ramon Gonzalez

Ramon Gonzalez passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the age of 96.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  Ramon loved spending time with his family, fishing, and attending senior citizen dances and bingo.  He will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloisa P. Gonzalez; daughter, Josefina G. Alvarez; parents, Pragedes and Petra Sanchez; siblings, Lazara Arredondo, Guadalupe Hernandez, Maria Villarreal, Juan Sanchez, Jesus Sanchez, Santos Gonzalez, and Patricio Gonzalez; and sons-in-law, Thomas Stakes and Ruben Alvarez.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Ricardo (Olivia) Gonzalez, Sr., Adan (Lilia) Gonzalez, Sr., Domingo Gonzalez, and Julian (Norma) Gonzalez; daughters, Eva (Joe) Hernandez, Maria Stakes, and Juanita (Lalo) Perales; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, June 22, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5 PM to 9 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 PM.  A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at 11:30 AM at Treviño Funeral Home.  A Funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 PM to Rose Hill Memorial Park for Rite of Committal and Interment at 1 PM.
