Ramon Langley Ramos

Ramon Langley Ramos passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 60.  He was born in Alice, TX on July 21, 1961 to Celso and Lucy Ramos.  Ramon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a devoted Army Veteran.

He loved and cherished the time he served in the military.  He traveled to Germany and various states in the United States.  He enjoyed family time such as coaching and attending his children’s sports teams. He also enjoyed bar-b-ques and listening to Tejano Music. He had an endless sense of humor that kept us laughing over the simplest to the most complicated things in life.  In his presence there was always laughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Celso Charles Ramos; mother, Lucia Langley Ramos; and siblings, Isrealda Perez, Christine Lara Estrada, and Crespin Lara III.

Ramon is survived by his wife of 36 years, Anna Rosa; sons,  Raymond Sal Ramos, Ramon Ramos, and Mark (Patricia Saenz) Ramos; daughter, Roxy  Ramos (Rene Everett Jr.);  six grandchildren, Evelyn, Mathew James, Michael Jace, Hayden Lee, Rene III, Roger, and Rainia; siblings, Cindy Lara, Chris (Barbara) Lara, Celinda Ramos, Celso (Viola) Ramos, Lucy (Gilbert) Ramos-Gutierrez, Gilbert (Esmeralda) Ramos, and Roxanne Ramos (Joey) Valenzuela; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
