Raul Esquivel

Raul Esquivel, born to Vicente and Ignacia A. Esquivel on August 8, 1935 in Guajillo Ranch, TX, passed away on February 13, 2019 at the age of 83. Raul was loved by everyone who knew him and will be dearly missed.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; wife, Domitila R. Esquivel; sister, Ofelia Rio; brothers, Vicente Esquivel, Jr. and Juan L. Esquivel; and grandson-in-law, Salome Naranjo.

Among those left to cherish Raul’s memory are his daughters, Ignacia E. Castillo and Irene E. Moreno; sisters, Esperanza E. Garcia and Margarita L. Perez; granddaughter raised as his daughter, Noelia Naranjo; grandchildren, Omar Castillo, Raul V. Castillo (Crystal), Nora Castillo, Dora Castillo, Caroline Castillo, Adan Moreno (Rachel), and Rene Moreno; 22 special great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers, Omar Castillo, Adan Moreno, Raul Castillo, Rene Moreno, Jacob Naranjo, and Salome Naranjo. Honorary Pallbearer, Leonardo Naranjo.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, February 15, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St. Alice, TX; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:30 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 9:30 AM to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Lopez Cemetery located at Loma Alta Ranch in Palito Blanco, Tx.
