Raul M. Ramirez

Raul Moya Ramirez passed away June 15, 2017 at the age of 78. He was born February 27, 1939 to Jose and Manuela Ramirez in Corpus Christi, TX.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. After his tour, he started working at Metals Incorporated in 1959. He then moved on to Industrial Salvage in 1988, and stayed there until it was bought out by Commercial Metals where he retired in 2009.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Manuela Ramirez; his brothers, Ruben and Rolando Ramirez; his wife, Paula Ramirez; a step-daughter, Josephine Reyes; and a grandson, Raul III.

Raul leaves his family behind to cherish his memory: three step-daughters, Mary Jane (Noe), Diana (Henry), and Martha (Joe); daughters, Irene and Velma (Will); and son Raul Jr. (Esther); 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Dad never made anyone feel like they didn’t belong. Everyone was always welcomed. When you were down and out, he’d give you a place to stay. When you were ready, he dusted you off and sent you on your way.
