Ray Anthony Fuentes, age 47, passed away on November 16, 2014. He will be dearly remembered for his love for Tejano dancing, and his passion for baking. Ray is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Felix (Adela) Fuentes; maternal grandmother, Natalia Patiño; and brother, Joe Fuentes. He leaves behind his loving life partner, Jerry Gaytan; father, Jose R. Fuentes; mother, Consuelo Fuentes; sisters, Sylvia (Everardo) Fuentes-Rodriguez, Carmella (Arturo) Fuentes-Contreras; step-children, Jerry Jr. and Emily Gaytan; nephews and niece, Everardo Rodriguez, Jr., Erica Rodriguez, Eric Rodriguez, Isaac Contreras; and other numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and staff at Christus Spohn Memorial 4th floor and the nursing staff at Angel Bright hospice, for all their loving care. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 3 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10 am; burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
