Rebecca Martinez

Rebecca Martinez passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2021, at the age of 62.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sarah Martinez; parents, Jose and Francisca Saenz; brother, Rudolfo Saenz, Jr.; and sister, Rosie Rangel.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her life partner, Martin Gloria; children, Rosemary Evans, Maggie (Scott) Wade, and Rene (Nannette) Martinez; siblings, Robert (Cindy) Saenz, Roy (Chris) Saenz, Roger (Nancy) Saenz, Rachel (Edmundo) Dana, and Ronnie (Mimi) Saenz; grandchildren, Anthony Evans, Justin Wade, Jr., Aaron Evans, Justine Wade, Rene Martinez, Frances Martinez, Serena Martinez, and Jerymiah Martinez; great-grandchildren, Emery Evans and Autumn Evans; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, May 20, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 5:00 PM.  Services will conclude that afternoon and a cremation will follow.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
