Rebecca R. Reyna

Rebecca Rios Reyna, age 70, was called home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Rebecca was born in Alice, TX on September 29, 1946 to her parents, Israel Rios and Julia Gonzalez. She was a devoted wife married to her beloved husband, Reynaldo, for 27 years. She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She had a green thumb loved gardening and tending to her plants, western movies and her lottery scratch off tickets. She will be dearly missed for her sense of humor.

Rebecca is proceeded in death by her parents, Israel Rios and Julia Gonzalez; and her son, Eulalio Garza.

She is survived by her husband Reynaldo Reyna Sr. of Alice; brothers, Jose Chavarria of Alice, Elias (Celina) Rios of Alice, Roberto (Raquel) of Alice, TX Arnulfo Rios of Michigan; sister, Gloria Chavez of Sunray; sons, Bonifacio Garza of McAllen, Gabriel Garza of Alice; son in law, Hector Rodriguez of McAllen; daughters, Janie Gallegos of Alice, Adelita Rodriguez of Alice, and Zenaida Montoya of Alice; stepsons, Adrian Reyna (Maria Trevino) of Alice, Reynaldo (Beverly) Reyna Jr. of Seguin; stepdaughters, Norma Garza (Jessie Mendez Jr.) of Alice, Nora Reyna of Alice, Linda (Adrian) Garcia of Alice; and numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers; Adrian Reyna Jr., Jacob Cruz, Matthew Rodriguez, Christian Rodriguez, Godfrey Rodriguez, Giovani Rodriguez.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5-9 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St.; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 PM. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Alice. Interment will follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
