He was a spiritual pillar in his community, always ready to offer words of encouragement and prayer. A lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Rene's love for football was infectious. His enthusiasm for the game was only surpassed by his love for his family. He cherished the moments spent cheering on his favorite team, especially when he was surrounded by his loved ones. Rene's love for his family was evident in his dedication to them. He was a loving husband to Norma A. Cavazos and a devoted father to his sons, Joshua R. Cavazos, Jared J. Cavazos, and Joseph I. Cavazos. Rene is survived by his loving wife, Norma;his sons, Joshua, Jared, and Joseph; and his siblings, Israel (Maria Cruz) Cavazos, Gloria (Samuel) Alvarez, Paulita de la Rosa, Jose (Maggie) Cavazos, Rosalva Marquez, Baldemar Cavazos, Susana Cavazos, and Margot Cavazos. His extended family of cousins, nieces, and an aunt will also remember him fondly. Rene's life was a testament to the power of faith, the joy of family, and the strength of community. His memory will continue to inspire and guide those who knew him. His legacy of love, faith, and family will endure through the lives of those he touched. Rene E.
