Reynaldo V. Garcia, 76, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 4, 1950, in Alice, Texas, he was loved by his parents, Reynaldo S. Garcia and Lorenza Garcia. He was a hard-working man, which could be seen in how he cared for his family and in his dedication to his career.
He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to his children and grandchildren when needed. He dedicated most of his career as a crane operator for the refineries, C.C. Crane, and later for Bay LTD, where he retired from. Before retirement, he enjoyed going fishing and taking trips to the beach in his free time. After retirement, he enjoyed watching NASCAR races, collecting novelty items, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He had a warm spot in his heart for all animals. He loved drinking Miller Lite while barbecuing, listening to music with his family, and talking about the good old days. Reynaldo will be remembered for his strong spirit, hard-work ethic, and all of his favorite things; but most of all, he will be remembered for loving and caring for all of his family.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Sarah Garcia; his four children, Minerva A. (Carlos) Rodriguez, Veronica S. (Armando) Rodriguez, Reynaldo S. (Ramona) Garcia III, and Eddie C. Garcia Sr.; his cherished grandchildren, Eddie (Rosie) Jr., Erika, Joey, Roland, Reynaldo (Johnny), Angelita (Hezekiah), Ryan, Elianna, Carlos, and Gibson; and his great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, John Anthony, Jaxon, Julian, Marco, Nicholas, Ezra, and Lily. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Lorenza Garcia; his siblings, Angie Luna and Ricardo (Candy) Garcia; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Reynaldo was preceded in death by his father, Reynaldo S. Garcia, his sister, Belia Lerma, and his nephews, Carlos Luna and Domingo G. Luera.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Raynaldo’s life at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave., during Visitation on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM that evening. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery where Reynaldo will be laid to rest.
Reynaldo will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him. His devotion to his family and the joy he found in the things he loved will live on in the memories of those fortunate enough to have shared in his life.
