Ricardo B. Hernandez, Jr.

Ricardo B. Hernandez, Jr., age 76, passed away May 7, 2016. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ignacia Hernandez; father, Richard H. Villanueva; mother, Guadalupe Bocanegra; and daughter, Crisanta Hernandez. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Elma Hernandez; sons: Santiago (Sandra), Geraldo, Ricardo III (Connie), and Rolando (Gisela) Hernandez; daughters, Edna Magallan and Elaine (Jim) Willis; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight sisters; four brothers; numerous nephews and nieces; and two best friends, Manuel Garza and Dan Jimenez. Ricardo worked for HEB for 48 years and was a mariachi with Mariachi Espuelas. He performed at various churches and assisted with mass at nursing homes. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 3 to 9 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 PM. Rites of Christian will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.trevinofuneralhome.net.
