Robert Cortinas, Jr.

Robert Cortinas Jr., 58, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 16, 2020. He was born on November 14, 1961 in Vernon, TX to Robert Cortinas Sr. and Angelita Cortinas.  He served in the United States Coast Guard and was stationed in Mobile, Alabama.  Robert was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and he was a collector of Hot Wheels.  He was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend with a big heart always helping everyone.  He will be missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents; sisters, Elvira and Adelida; and brother, David.

Robert Jr., also known as Nuno to his family, is survived by his mother, Angelita Cortinas; his father, Roberto Cortinas Sr.; his siblings, Janie Hales, Angie (Henry) Hastings, David (Michelle) Cortinas, and Daniel Cortinas; his nieces and nephews whom he loved: Corie (Travis), Rodney (Kaitlynn), Kayla, Kristen, Sara, Gina, Kellen (Abby), Katarina, Frances, Elijah (Shania), Kristopher (Ruby), Destiny, and Miranda; and by numerous great- nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.
