Robert S. Rodriguez went home to eternal rest on July 2, 2026.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Mercedes Rodriguez, and his brothers, Luis, Juan Armando, and Mercedes Rodriguez Jr.

He is survived by his two sisters, Ana De Los Santos and Lucille Earhart; his nieces, Rachelle, Cheryl, Amy, Jennifer, Vivian, and Yvonne; nephew, Armando De Leon; great-nieces, Amanda, Bella, Tinsley, Mercy Love, Monique, Elizabeth, and Leticia; and great-nephews, Christopher, Jacob, Steele, Ace, Freddy Jr, Sergio, and Noah.

Robert attended Roy Miller High School and took some classes at Del Mar College. He worked at Biels Grocery Store and also worked many years at the Corpus Christi Yacht Club. He loved listening to old music favorites like Vicente Fernandez, Lucia Villa, Luis Acedes Mejia, and many other Mexican singers.

Robert’s family will receive condolences on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave; with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 12:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery where Robert will be laid to rest.

Honoring Robert as pallbearers will be Armando De Leon, Steele De Leon, Frankie De Los Santos, John Earhart, Robert Rios, and Jacob Rios.
