With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert D. Trevino, who left this world on February 21, 2025, at the age of 84. He was a devoted father, a cherished grandfather, and the steady backbone of his family.
Robert is survived by his former wife Beli; his children, Robert, Mark, Joe (Linda), Teresa (Damian), and Yvonne (Leslie); his beloved grandchildren, Kayla, Gavin, Peyten, Anthony, Vanessa, Lucas, Alex, Jon, and Christopher; as well as his cherished grandchildren, James and Joshua, who preceded him in death. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Alexa, Aubrielle, Ashton, Ariel, Ariana, Michael, and Dallas, His greatest joy in life was his family, and he dedicated himself to ensuring they remained close, supported one another, and shared in life’s moments together.
A man of quiet strength and endless generosity, Robert never hesitated to help others, even when he had little to give. He showed love through action—cooking meals, fixing things around the house, and offering his time and wisdom without expectation. Patient, kind, and selfless, he was the heart of his family, always working to keep them united.
Robert found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, a love for telenovelas, college football, UT sporting events, and an eye for hidden treasures; often collecting antiques, knickknacks, and unexpected finds from thrift stores—each piece holding value in his eyes. He took pride in building and creating with his hands and cherished time spent with loved ones, whether on road trips to his hometown of Beeville, TX, or during everyday outings around town.
Music was a constant in Robert’s life. With an extensive collection that spanned generations, he found joy in listening to his favorite songs at any moment of the day. In his final hours, as he took his last breath, he was surrounded by the music he loved—just as he had been throughout his life.
Above all, Robert was his family’s greatest supporter, protector, and defender. He was always in their corner, offering encouragement, strength, and unconditional love. His presence brought comfort, his kindness left an imprint on everyone he met, and his legacy will live on through the values he instilled in his loved ones.
Though he is gone, his love remains. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply cherished.
