Rolando Munoz

On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, Rolando Munoz peacefully passed away at the age of 45 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on March 7, 1974, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a 1992 graduate of Mary Carroll High School and attended Del Mar College where he received his Associates Degree in Business. He was a talented mechanic and worked in the refinery industry. Roland enjoyed working on cars, barbecuing, fishing, music, and helping others. He proudly served in the United States Army. Roland will be remembered as a loving son, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Munoz.

Roland is survived by his mother, Nelda Munoz; brothers, Jeffrey and David Jr.; sisters, Victoria and Pamela; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, May 20, 2019, at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 P.M., where Roland will be laid to rest with full military honors. Reception to follow at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 4406 Prescott St, Corpus Christi, TX 78416.
