Rosa Bitoni, a beacon of love and faith in her community, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at the age of 90, in her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on November 15, 1934, also in Corpus Christi, Rosa's life was a testament to the enduring power of kindness and devotion. Rosa's journey began as a daughter of Corpus Christi, where she spent her entire life nurturing a family that would grow to see her as the cornerstone of their lives. She was preceded in departure by her beloved husband, Reynaldo Joel Bitoni, Sr., and her two sons, Reynaldo Joel Bitoni, Jr. and David Bitoni. Her legacy continues through her children, Richard Bitoni (Debra), Terri Lytle Bitoni (Bill), Rosemarie Bitoni, and Patricia Bitoni, who will remember her as the embodiment of maternal love and grace. A stay-at-home mom by choice, Rosa dedicated her life to creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. She extended her nurturing spirit to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored babysitting. Her dedication to her family was unmatched, and she instilled in them the values of compassion, faith, and resilience. Rosa's interests reflected her love for simple pleasures and her unwavering faith. She was an avid thrift shopper, always finding joy in discovering treasures that others had overlooked. Her afternoons were often spent engrossed in her favorite novelas, and she never missed an episode of "Walker, Texas Ranger," which brought excitement and a touch of adventure to her days. Above all, Rosa was devoted to her faith in God, which guided her through life's challenges and triumphs. Those who knew Rosa were touched by her loving and kind nature. She was a woman of deep faith, and her spirit was a comforting presence in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rosa's unwavering kindness and her ability to see the good in everyone made her a cherished friend and a pillar of her community. Rosa Bitoni's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love, kindness, and faith. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by the countless lives she touched. Rosa's family takes comfort in knowing that she lived a full life, surrounded by those she loved and who loved her deeply in return. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Rosa Bitoni will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those she has left behind. May she rest in peace, cradled by the same love and comfort she so freely gave during her time on earth.
