Rosa Maria Garcia, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 65. Born on December 9, 1959, Rosa Maria lived a life filled with warmth, affection, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.

Rosa Maria is survived by her beloved children, Alex Garcia Jr., Laura Fernandez, Valerie Moya (Xavier Moya), and James Garcia (Melissa Pedraza Garcia). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Shelley Rose Fernandez, Jake Edward Fernandez, Vincent James Moya, Nathan Alejandro Garcia, and Ariel Rose Moya, who brought her immense joy and laughter. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Angie Martinez and Yolanda Ramirez, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Rosa Maria's zest for life was evident in all that she did. She found great pleasure in her morning coffee, often shared while enjoying her favorite television shows. Music and dancing filled her home with happiness, reflecting her vibrant spirit. The kitchen was her playground, where she showcased her exceptional culinary skills, often preparing meals infused with love for her family to enjoy.

Rosa Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Barbarita and Cenebio Castillo, and her siblings, Guadalupe Castillo and Alejandra Wood, whose memories she held dear.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 12:00 PM followed by a Eulogy at 12:30 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that afternoon.

Rosa Maria Garcia will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love and laughter will continue to inspire and uplift, as she watches over her family from above.
