Rosa Salinas

Rosa Martinez Salinas of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 88. Rosa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe C. Salinas; parents, Jose and Juana Martinez; siblings, Guillermo Martinez, Anselmo Martinez, and Josefa Martinez.

She leaves her family behind to cherish her memories; her daughter, Lamar Salinas Ayala (David); son, Joe M. Salinas (Norma); sisters, Delfina Martinez and Margarita Garcia; grandchildren, Ambrose Gonzalez (Mary Beth), Celeste Gonzalez (John Ghezzi), Ariel Gonzalez (Edwin Hill Green IV), Alexa Barter (Markus), Ares Gonzalez, and Joe Kendall Salinas (Aislynn); great grandchildren, Bella Barter, Ava Barter, Caralina Barter, Landon Moore, Preston Moore, Edwin Cannon Green V, Pierson Green, Sebastian Gonzalez, Alessandra Gonzalez, Guiliana Rose Gonzalez, Catarina Gonzalez, and Christian Ahrens; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that evening. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 12:30 PM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
