Ruben De Leon

Ruben De Leon passed away on May 15, 2021 at the age of 84.  He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Dora De Leon; daughter, Christina Guajardo; son, Ruben De Leon Jr.; parents, Reyes and Rosa De Leon; and siblings, Rebecca Sanchez. Roberto De Leon, Ramon De Leon, and Ramiro De Leon.

Ruben is survived by his children, Juana (Jo Pete) Medina, Guadalupe (Tomas) Navarro, Rosa Silva, Jose De Leon, Robert (Diana Linan) De Leon, Daniel De Leon, and Ruben (Melissa) Ayala; siblings, Ruth Ymbert and Rachel Falcon; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.  Services will conclude that evening in the chapel.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
