Ruben G. Gomez

Ruben G. Gomez passed away on January 12, 2019 at the age of 61. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Ruben loved fishing, barbecuing, and the Dallas Cowboys. He will be missed by those whom knew him and loved him.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Graciela R. Gomez; his daughter, Stephanie Marie Ramon; sons, Ruben (Ramona) Gomez, Juan Manuel (Raquel) Gomez, and Andrew (Lori Galvan) Gomez; sisters, Diana Camp and Sylvia Montano; brothers, Juan Eduardo “WALO” Gomez, Margarito “Mike” Gomez, and Carlos Gomez; along with 11 grand-children; and 1 great-grand child.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
