Ruben A. Livar Gutierrez

Ruben A. Livar Gutierrez passed away on June 8, 2017 at the age of 34. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ramiro Gutierrez, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Ramiro Gutierrez, Jr, Jain Daniel Gutierrez, Jesse Antonio Gutierrez, and Dianna Gutierrez.

Ruben is survived by his children, Antonio Gutierrez, Luis Gutierrez, Rey Garcia, and Ruby Gutierrez; his girlfriend, Paula Ramos; his grandmother, Otilia Gutierrez; brothers and sisters, Esequiel Gutierrez (Zeke), Reyes Livar, Gabby Gutierrez, Jamie Rodriguez, Ruby Livar, JR Livar, Marcos Livar, Ruby Tinoco, Madera Perez, Melissa Livar, Mayor Ann Livar and Hilario Reyna; aunts and uncles, Guadalupe “Mamatia” Gutierrez and Diana Marquez and Joey Montez. He is also survived by 47 nephews and nieces.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be Jamie Rodriguez, Jacob Martinez, Martin Martinez, Jose Arguelles, Jesse Gutierrez, Danny Gutierrez, Reyes Ramiro Livar, and Mathew Rodriguez.

T he family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at VFW Post 3070 in Mathis, TX, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the evening; where a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Rites of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mathis, TX. Funeral cortege will depart the church for Rite of Committal and Interment at Descanso Eterno Cemetery II.
