Ruben G. Lopez

Ruben G. Lopez passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the age of 57. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Ruben T. Lopez and Rebecca Martinez. Ruben is survived by his former wife, Maria G. Lopez; son, Ruben Anthony Lopez, daughters, Eileen Lopez, Arlene (Paul) Figueroa, and Jennifer (Christopher) Mercado; sisters, Margo (Mario) Carrasco, Christine (Norman) Munnilal, and Letty (Arnold) Silva; brother, Michael (Janie) Lopez; 6 grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, from 4p -9pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. Funeral under the direction of Bobby Treviño.
