Ruben Rodriguez Peña passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 85.

Born on March 24, 1941, Ruben lived a long life marked by devotion to those he loved most. He will be remembered with deep affection by his family, and his memory will remain a lasting presence in their hearts.

At the center of Ruben’s life was his beloved wife, Delia Peña, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Their enduring bond stood as a testament to love, loyalty, and partnership through the years. He is also lovingly remembered by his daughter, Deborah Marie Peña, and by his son, Hector Ruben Peña, and Hector’s wife, Kim. Ruben’s legacy continues through his grandchildren, Meredith Sanchez and Stuart Sanchez, who will carry forward the memory of his life and love.

He is also survived by his brothers, Henry Peña and Benny Peña, and by his sisters, Cristela Ochoa and Maria Cedillo. Each of them shared in the family ties that meant so much to Ruben throughout his life.
