Ruben C. Silvas

Ruben Cantu Silvas passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, at the age of 80.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria De Jesus Silvas; daughter, Elia Esmeralda Silvas; great-grandson, Ethan Silvas; brothers, Arturo and Israel; sisters, Ernestina and Aurora.

Ruben is survived by his sons, Raul, Ricardo, and Arthur; sisters, Juanita, Victoria, and Lydia; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will be receiving friends from 5pm to 9 pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. A Chapel service will be held at 10am on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Treviño Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.trevinofuneralhome.net
