Rudolfo Ricardo Salinas, Sr.

Rudolfo Ricardo Salinas, Sr. passed away on November 18, 2017 at the age of 81. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 16, 1936. He served our Country proudly and was a very proud veteran of the United States Army. Rudolfo retired from the City of Corpus Christi where he worked in the Park Maintenance Department for over 10 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso Salinas and Maria de la Luz Villarreal Salinas; siblings, Maria “Cora” del Socorro Rodriguez, Yolanda Estrada, Ninfa S. Cuevas, Alfonso Salinas, Sr., Ramon Salinas and Heraclio Salinas. Rudolfo is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rosa Salinas; his daughter, Monica Salinas (Jose Luis Trevino, Jr.); his son, Rudolfo Salinas, Jr.; his grandson, Diego Andres Aguinaga; one granddaughter on the way; numerous nephews, nieces, and other extended family members. The family will receive condolences on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara St. at Port, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; where a vigil for the deceased and a holy rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Treviño Funeral Home with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
