Rudolph "Rudy" H. Rivera

Rudolph “Rudy” Rivera passed away on December 24, 2018 at the age of 82. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Rudolph was deeply loved by his family and friends; and will be dearly missed by all whom loved him.

Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, Estanislado Rivera and Tita Hernandez Rivera.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rosa Rivera; daughter, Rose Abdulmalik; sons, Rudy Rivera, Jr., Roger Rivera, and Ramsey Rivera; sisters Mary Trevino and Teresa Rivas; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 30, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 11:30 AM to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors will follow on Monday, December 31st, 2018 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
