Salvador G Cavazos, Jr.

Salvador G. Cavazos, born July 23, 1950 in Alice, Texas to Salvador L. and Librada Garcia Cavazos, passed away on June 1, 2018 at the age of 67. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Salvador was preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Librada Garcia Cavazos; sister, Yolanda Morgan; brother, George Cavazos; and sister-in-law, Minerva Cavazos.

Survivors left to cherish his memories are his wife, Rosabel G. Cavazos; daughters, Michelle C. Martinez (Corey) and Roxanne R. Cavazos; son, Mark P. Cavazos (Vicki); sisters, Quina Garza (Viola) and Melba Gonzalez (Raymond); brothers, Fernando Cavazos (Anita), Samuel Cavazos (Socorro Maria), and Luis Cavazos (Liza); brother-in-law, Edward Morgan; and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., from 8 to 11 AM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 9:30 AM. Liturgy will follow at 10 AM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 11:30 AM for Rite of Committal and Interment at 1 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Road Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
