Samantha Castillo Guajardo

Samantha Castillo Guajardo passed away on August 18, 2021 at the age of 27. She was born in Corpus Christi on October 1, 1993 to Emilio Pedro Guajardo and Genevieve Castillo. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Emilio P.V. Guajardo; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Juan Reyes, and Mr. Pedro Guajardo and Rebecca Aldape.

Samantha is survived by her mother, Genevieve Castillo Ambriz (Jose E. Ambriz Jr.); stepmother, Michelle R.; brother, Emilio Guajardo, Jr.; sister, Valeria Rodriguez and children Savannah Rodriguez and Juliet Guajardo; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eusebio Castillo Sr.; uncles, Juan Reyes Jr., Eusebio Castillo Jr. (Tia Audrey Perez and son Sebastian Castillo), and Jose Luis Castillo (Tia Elanie Coronado and son Julien R. Castillo); and aunts, Veronica Castillo and Erenstina Castillo (Nicolas and Rebekha Castillo).

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port; with a memorial Holy Rosary to be recited that evening at 6:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening in the chapel.
